Community Grant from Eversource

The Hopkinton Emergency Fund recently received a generous Community Impact Grant of $2,500 from Eversource (its second grant to the Fund). 

We are extremely grateful to Eversource for supporting the Emergency Fund's mission of providing temporary emergency financial assistance to Hopkinton residents in need.

The HEF relies on Donations to help residents in need

Many people in our Town are able to weather emergencies by dipping into financial reserves but some residents are not so fortunate. The HEF helps with financial assistance to meet basic  needs in the short-term; pay the rent to avoid eviction, obtain medicine, repair a car and more. To date, the Fund has provided over $60,000 in grants.  Your donation will help ensure the Fund can continue to provide support in an emergency.

Our Mission

The Hopkinton Emergency Fund is a public, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide temporary emergency financial assistance to residents of Hopkinton through collaboration with existing local human services organizations.

Our Vision

A united Hopkinton community that recognizes its responsibility to support residents when they are faced with emergencies by providing financial assistance to meet their basic needs.
